Since 2008, the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation has partnered with Los Angeles Times in Education to develop the School of Champions, a classroom education program that has reached over 180,000 students a year.

With the help of the WellPoint Foundation, School of Champions provides teachers in the Los Angeles area with a comprehensive health curriculum to help educate their students about the benefits of healthy living and being active.
